Welcome to our support

Option 1 (relies on you carrying this out every time you open a link 😐):

Whatever the YouTube video website link is, simply insert a ‘-’ in between the ‘t and the ‘u’ of YouTube after the page has loaded and watch the browser skip straight to an ad-free full screen video of your clip!

With a ‘-‘ inserted to remove ads:

Option 2 (a permanent and easier way of removing ads 😊)

With edge extensions always going out of the date, the best way to watch YouTube videos without adverts is now ViewPure / Videos Without Clutter.

There are two ways to sort out your YouTube videos (Choice 2 is much better but requires to use your edge bookmarks bar):

Choice 1: Bookmark the purify website and then copy and paste the YouTube URL into it.

Choice 2 (much better!): open the purify website ONCE, then drag the ‘purify’ blue button onto your edge bookmarks bar using left click on your mouse (make sure you have your bookmarks bar showing on edge).  The next time you’re on YouTube and find a good video, simply click the ‘purify’ blue button in the favourites bar and it will ‘purify’ the video, making it ad-free 😊

Option 3 (a possible permanent and easier way of removing ads 😊)

Install a Microsoft Edge extension that blocks YouTube adverts.

  1. Open an Edge browser and click on ‘extensions’ (to the right of the address bar and looks like a jigsaw piece, see below):

  1. Choose to ‘Open Microsoft Edge Add-ons’:

  1. Search for a reputable ad blocker like ‘uBlock Origin’ and click on ‘Get’.  Voila, no more ads on YouTube for you!

NOTE: Please do not use 'Blazing Adblock for YouTube' as it's no longer safe to use. If you have already installed it, you can uninstall it from the 'Manage extensions' button which can be found by clicking the puzzle piece in the address bar. Thank you!
