If you're having difficulty connecting to the equipment in your classroom, these simple steps are always worth checking before calling for help.


Plugs can often be removed when people attempt to plugin other equipment, we have labelled the plugs to make them easier to spot. If it looks like your screen or Apple TV are off, check they are plugged in, unplugging them and re-plugging them can fix most minor problems.


The plugs are labelled as below-


If you are connecting to the Microsoft Wireless display adaptor from your Windows laptop, you can press Windows + K on your keyboard, you'll see a list of wireless displays to connect to, select your classroom and give it a moment to connect.


To connect your iPad to the Apple TV

  • Open Control Centre (swipe down from the top right hand corner of your iPad) and select Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) and choose the Interactive Whiteboard from the list.
  • If you are not seeing the correct AppleTV or Windows Display adapter screen, please check you have the correct source selected. You can find this information at the bottom right corner of the Interactive Whiteboard.


Using Touch Functionality

If you are still teaching from a Windows laptop and require touch screen capability on your white board (please note not all screens are interactive screens)

Connect the cable labelled "Touch" to your laptop.
